ABOUT US

OUR MOM AND DAUGHTER OPERATION

Our herd of 30-40 bison roams the rangeland feeding on native, west Texas grasses and lounging in the shade of mesquite and cedar trees. For over a decade, we have taken pleasure watching our bison saunter across open pasture. We are passionate about sustainability and a healthy herd.

What does the "BT" stand for?

Our ranch is located along the Butterfield Overland Trail southwest of Abilene, Texas.  The southern mail service route began in 1858, was 600 miles longer than the Central Overland Trail, and was developed as a snow free route.

Most importantly we believe in sustainable ranching which is why our meat is always

100% Grass Fed

100% Free Range
